I have been fishing for bass 30 years and bought my first bass boat 10 years ago, followed shortly by competing in my first bass tournament 6 months later.  Although I have been casting a rod since I was 4 years old the "bass bug" didn't really bite until I was in my mid-teens.  Since that time I have fished for other species both salt and freshwater but my focus and passion is figuring out the patterns, understanding the feeding habits of, and catching smallmouth and largemouth bass.  Although I regularly fish the Northeast U.S., during the winter months I have travelled to California, Florida, and Mexico in pursuit of those wall-hanger giant Florida Bass.  I have utilized guides in these areas as well as Canada and through these experiences have learned both the right way and wrong way to entertain paying clients.  Biggest lesson?  This is not about my experiences on the water, its about yours. 

I have been competitively fishing for about 8 years on a regional basis while enjoying many successes.  I have won numerous tournaments while being a sponsored member of Nitro Boats/Tracker Marine’s Pro Staff and when not winning am always competitive finishing near the top.  I also enjoy a solid reputation as a standup guy, good communicator and respected businessman.  Most important to me are integrity, loyalty, family and hard work.  I am an excellent ambassador to the sport taking time teaching new guys on the local tournament scene or kids and others looking to fish recreationally.  I enjoy teaching and hate when I have to stop sharing fishing techniques or answering questions after a seminar when I’m needed back at my “real job”.  I’d like to say I know when to listen and when to talk; and I’m always entertaining and approachable.  Basically, I like people!
